EMS Global Tracking’s satellite terminals are small, lightweight, and are designed as a single sealed unit ideal for discreet installation. The satellite terminals are configurable; specific end-user requirements are addressed and application features vary depending on the requirement. The SAT-202 and the TAM-212 satellite terminals are widely utilized by Service Providers to deliver information.

Network
EMS Global Tracking provides a stable and reliable network with a consistent, high quality service operating over the Inmarsat satellite network, utilising the IsatM2M low data rate protocol. This service offers cost effective short burst messaging with seamless worldwide coverage, and can operate for many years with little to no maintenance requirements. Furthermore unlike other services, IsatM2M does not incur high roaming costs.
All existing EMS Global Tracking terminals utilising the D+ protocol are upgradeable to IsatM2M by undertaking a simple firmware update. There is no need for a hardware change-out to enjoy the benefits of this latest protocol.
